The Opportunity:
Embry-Riddle is now hiring an International Student Advisor in International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) at the Daytona Beach campus. The International Student Advisor will contribute to the office's mission of providing support and services to international students, scholars, faculty and staff. These support services are tailored to enable these individuals to lawfully pursue their academic and professional goals at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The Advisor will assist in managing the immigration processing, advising, and related outreach services provided by the International Student Advising team to over 1,200 nonimmigrant international students on the Daytona Beach Campus. The Advisor also serves as the main DSO processing advisor for ERAU's F-1 Daytona Beach Campus and provides back-up support to Director and Associate Director in F-1 student advising and counseling. They also support the Director and Associate Director as a back-up Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the ERAU J-1 visa program. Finally, they will provide additional back up to the SEVIS Coordinator during Orientation and Check-in.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in a student support role.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, initiative, and teamwork
- Demonstrated collaborative skills
- Motivational capabilities
- Conflict resolution skills
- Able to work in a fast paced student oriented environment.
- Computer and technology skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Ability to relate well to students
- Strong written and verbal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Campus Solutions, Terra Dotta software, Oracle, SEVIS and Salesforce
