N/A Note: All positions with Santa Fe Public Schools require a post-offer/pre-employment background check. Some positions have additional requirements as established by federal or state rules and regulations.
We are looking for high school juniors or seniors to assist in facilitating the Indian Education Summer Program. They will work as part of a team and assist the educators with a variety of duties including: preparing materials, facilitating activities and games, assisting with snacks, and helping with clean up. Recreational Aides will work closely with children, and will assist with indoor and outdoor activities, art projects, dance and games. Ideal qualifications for this position include: responsible, mature individuals who can set a good example for children with regards to safety and behavior, who is willing to do a variety of tasks. Must be able to commit to working for the full four week period (barring illness). Native American applicants preferred.
A full-day Summer Program will be offered for Native American students entering grades 1 through 7. The program will be held at Gonzales Community School starting June 5th and ending June 30th. The program will run 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. daily. An academic curriculum will be delivered in the morning and an art/cultural enrichment curriculum will be delivered in the afternoon.

$14.03 hour
