Grade: T25The link below will give you information about the University’s “T” salary structure.Learn more about the “T” salary structure.A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant’s education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.The Regional Assistant Director of Admissions will serve as an ambassador for Temple University to prospective students, families, counselors, community-based organizations and other key education stakeholders. The Assistant Director will be primarily responsible for promoting Temple and the City of Philadelphia as a college destination for students from outside Pennsylvania. This position will be based in New York and recruit within specifically designated areas in New York as well as New England. The Assistant Director will travel heavily to conduct outreach and recruitment initiatives aimed at cultivating interest in Temple. Gives presentations, speaks in front of large and small audiences, meets regularly with counselors, hosts receptions, staff college fairs, and conducts workshops and programming directly related to the admission and financial aid process. Conducts extensive follow-up communication with students and families who have expressed interest in Temple. Participates fully in the evaluation and selection process of first year candidates for admission. Reads applications and makes decisions on a large volume of admission candidates. The Assistant Director will be required to travel to Temple’s main campus in Philadelphia (2-3) times a year. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Please note this position will work remotely. The duration of remote work will be at the discretion of Temple University and the hiring department . Experience speaking in front of large and small groups, to deliver information sessions, lectures, or speak at industry-specific conferences. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Required Skills & Abilities:
