Lehigh University, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, invites applications and nominations for the next Executive Director of the Iacocca Institute (Institute).  The Executive Director will be a global leadership educator who brings vision, creativity, and a fresh new focus for the Institute at a pivotal moment in its existence. This is an exciting time for a new leader to take the helm and identify new directions and programs that align with the University’s soon-to-be-adopted strategic plan “Our Future, Our Lehigh.”

Reporting to the Vice President and Vice Provost for International Affairs, Cheryl Matherly, Ed.D., the Executive Director will bring a keen understanding of the international education landscape and have a critical role in maintaining Lehigh’s stature as an institution committed to developing leaders prepared to create innovative solutions to global problems. They will be a visible leader and advocate for the Institute, serving as a thought leader and strong collaborative partner across the University and as a part of the strategic leadership team of the Office of International Affairs. As the front-facing leader of the Institute, the Executive Director will look externally to promote and cultivate donor and grant support for Institute programs while internally developing and fostering partnerships with faculty and staff to create rich, integrated, student learning opportunities. Additionally, the Executive Director will provide leadership for all matters of the Institute including clarifying the mission, aligning programming with the mission, campus partnership building, global partnership building, international internships, staff leadership and development, budget management, alumni engagement, program evaluation, fundraising, and Iacocca legacy stewardship.
