Penn State Behrend, Youth Education Outreach is seeking applicants interested in spending summer days with youth enrollees in the College for Kids program.
An enthusiasm for working with youth and the ability to share content so as to engage participants in a dynamic manner is critical. Successful candidates must be at least 18 years old and be available for the full camp schedule.
College for Kids Student Coordinators are responsible for oversight and care of children during classes and lunch. Successful candidates for this position are expected to assist College for Kids instructors with class delivery of approved hands-on summer activities and be actively engaged in the assigned program for each day the program is in session.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
