Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus is seeking to create a pool of local adjunct (part-time) faculty talent to join the Security Studies and International Affairs Department in the College of Arts & Sciences. Our semesters of instructions run for 15 weeks from January to May and August to December.

The Security Studies and International Affairs (SSIA) Department is the home to two bachelor's degree programs: Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Intelligence; and Bachelor of Science in Global Conflict Studies. Within the SSIA Department, students may also pursue minor courses of study in Military Science, Terrorism Studies, Emergency Management, and Cybersecurity Applications and Management.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a master's degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the discipline they intend to teach. Specific subject matter expertise sought in Homeland Security, Industrial Security, Intelligence, Strategic Planning, and Information Security. Prior teaching experience and familiarity with the Canvas learning management system are a plus.
