The Immigration Services office at the University of Georgia has an opening for an international student immigration advisor to manage advising and casework for F-1 students, J-1 students, and J-1 scholars / student-interns.  This position requires 25% advising and processing immigration related requests for F-1 students, 25% advising and processing immigration related requests for J-1 students, scholars, and student-interns, 25% SEVIS data auditing, management, reporting; 10% updating web content, handouts, presentations; 15% other administrative tasks including maintenance of policies, conducting presentations, revising educational materials, and others areas, as required by Director.  This position requires discretion and independent judgment relating to immigration options, case and benefit eligibility and filings, and compliance with federal regulation on the part of both the student and UGA.
