Position Summary:

Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Assist in monitoring student attendance, ensuring students are engaged and on track in their studies.
• Student advocate "Liaison" for grievance and complaints. Be a compassionate advocate for our students, helping resolve any issues they may face.
• Assist in achieving retention and re-entry goals, contribute to our mission by helping students stay on their educational path.
• Advise students on consecutive absence issues, work closely with students to find satisfactory resolutions.
• Provide assistance in various areas, help students access childcare, transportation, financial advisement, protective and legal aid services, and effective study/tutoring services.
• Liaise between faculty and students, foster effective communication and advising activities.
• Maintain knowledge of school catalog and policies, ensure students are informed and supported.
• Develop and oversee campus activities, create a vibrant student community, including orientation facilitation.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Affairs and/or Campus President.
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required: Your education background is essential in this role.
• Strong oral communication skills: Effective communication is key to student support.
• Knowledgeable in human dynamics: Understanding the needs and challenges of our students.
• Strong organizational skills: Managing various aspects of student affairs.
• Ability to interact effectively: Build relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
• Strong telephone communication skills: Connecting with students and addressing their needs.
