We are currently seeking a Community Education Program Manager to support our Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) programs. This role involves collaborating with our team to develop, administer, implement, and evaluate our district-wide EC&FE initiatives. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of child and family development, excellent communication and computer skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the overall leadership and development of program areas
Recruiting, training, and supervising non-licensed staff
Supporting ongoing community needs assessment work
Contributing to the development and implementation of a marketing and outreach plan based on community needs
Assisting with the management, implementation, and reporting of various grants and initiatives
Managing data and communication with stakeholders
Monitoring program revenues and expenses, including tuition collection
Analyzing enrollment data to determine future program needs
Providing support to other Community Education program areas as needed or assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or a related field
3+ years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred
3+ years of supervising Community Education programs and staff related to this position preferred
Desired qualifications:
Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
Experience teaching in ECFE or similar programs
Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment
Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs
Experience working with diverse populations
Experience working with families of low socio-economic status
Salary: View salary information in the Management Personnel I-M agreement
Work schedule: In order to best meet the needs of our customers and staff, core hours will be determined upon hire and may be flexible with supervisor approval. This position is salaried, including summer hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
