POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Program Development is a cross-functional role that works closely with all teams at ISEP, including Marketing & Communications, Member Relations, Student Services, Finance, and IT, to provide organizational leadership for the annual release of the ISEP Direct Summer and Semester program portfolios and support the successful go-to-market process for new programs.

 

Our ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking and detail-oriented project leader with experience in international education.  This individual must demonstrate prior experience in project or program management and in leading cross-departmental teams toward a common goal.  A demonstrated history of being collaborative, creative, and positive in their working relationships is vital.

 

 

 

PRINCIPLE RELATIONSHIPS

 

Internal: Director of Program Development, Chief Operating Officer, Marketing Team, Member Relations Team, Student Services and Enrollment Leadership, IT and Finance

 

External: ISEP Direct Host Institutions, ISEP Members and Affiliates

 

 

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Provide organizational leadership and project manage Annual Direct Portfolio Release to ensure it is released on time with all cross-departmental components of Seasonal Readiness Calendar completed successfully. Conduct retrospective reviews of Seasonal Readiness Calendar components and set new Seasonal Readiness Calendar annually. Set Calendar and Project Manage New Program Launches to assure approved new programs are actualized on time and all components are completed successfully. Create new program video trainings for internal ISEP sales team (MRD’s, URM’s and SSO’s) for each new program launch. Create annual direct portfolio training for internal ISEP Member Relations and Student Services teams for each annual program release. Consolidate direct program evaluation data into summary reports for Director of Program Development to translate to analysis and recommendation reports regarding changes, suspensions or future portfolio additions. Review annual competitor pricing and locations relative to ISEP’s direct program portfolio and provide a competitive pricing and location analysis as a component of a broader annual direct program analysis conducted by the Director of Program Development. Compile enrollment and application data and provide an annual application/enrollment analysis as a component of a broader annual direct program analysis conducted by the Director of Program Development Serve as a subject matter expert for US Outbound Member Relations team for the Direct Program Portfolio to assist in development of solution-based outbound engagement proposals for affiliates and members (identify unique program characteristics that meet the specific needs of each affiliate or member – academic, student support, pricing, HIP opportunities, etc).

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 3+ years of work experience in education abroad programming Bachelor’s degree in related field; master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in program and project management, including fluency in project management software; Asana experience preferred. Demonstrated experience problem-solving and managing competing priorities. Steadfast ability to motivate and lead cross-departmental teams toward a common goal. Exceptional capacity to track and manage details while retaining an eye toward broader goals.
