The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College invites applications for anAssistant Professor (Marxe School), tenure track, with a specialization in international security and technology. Areas of policy research could address cyber conflict, disinformation, military uses of AI, hybrid warfare, weapons proliferation, and other national security and global security challenges of the 21 st century. Teaching responsibilitieswill include electives in a new Global Security concentration and core courses in the Master of International Affairs (MIA) program.
This position is part of an interdisciplinary cluster of new faculty across the College studying data science. Faculty in this cluster will prepare students to understand the threats and opportunities of the digital world. They will form an interdisciplinary data analytics group that will conduct high level research while simultaneously suffusing data science across all areas of the Baruch curriculumto improve student employment prospects.

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
COMPENSATION
90,134-99,532; Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
