The University of Virginia's International Studies Office (ISO) seeks qualified applicants to fill Lecturer positions for teaching in our Education Abroad programs during the January term 2024. Education Abroad plays an important role in advancing the University of Virginia's pedagogic mission, enriching students both academically and personally, and is crucial in preparing students for the challenges of the global world. This unique learning experience combines intellectual pursuits with firsthand exposure to different peoples and their cultural traditions. It provides students with an opportunity to gain an international perspective on their chosen academic field or career path and to learn and practice important life skills - critical thinking, independence, flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to interact and communicate across differences.

Successful candidates must hold a graduate degree in a relevant field.

This is a part-time, tenure ineligible position which does not carry benefits.

To apply, please submit an application online at https://uva.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/UVAJobs and attach a letter of interest, curriculum vitae and the names of and contact information for three references. Search for requisition #R0054711
