The University of South Dakota Office of Admissions is seeking an energetic, goal-oriented, self-motivated individual for the position of Admissions Counselor.
Responsibilities include working with prospective students and parents through the college search process, marketing and recruitment activities on- and off-campus, assisting with financial aid and scholarship-related questions, using Salesforce and other software systems, presenting information about USD to prospective students, willingness to travel, working with faculty and staff to meet enrollment goals, evaluating prospective students and participating in the selection of applicants for admission.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree and valid driver's license required. Related admissions experience preferred. Knowledge of the University of South Dakota campus, departments, and admission standards desirable.
Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), be self-starters, work independently and collaboratively, and have the ability to be creative in developing recruiting relationships with prospective students, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
