Job Summary:
Recruitment and admissions activities for College of Nursing. Will advise prospective students and applicants throughout the admissions process for the College of Nursing and assist in the review of applications and Admissions Committee review. Will coordinate accepted student days for the College of Nursing and will help manage potential CON interview days. Will travel & recruit for the various programs at SUNY Upstate Medical University, but serve as the primary recruiter for all College of Nursing fairs/events.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Education, Student Services or a related field or a Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of two years experience in admissions, student services, or related area required. New York State valid driver's license, ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks, plus excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills required. Must possess good public speaking skills and be comfortable speaking to various large groups. Significant travel and night and weekend work required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Marketing related experience in an academic setting preferred.
