Job Responsibilities
The Admissions Enrollment Processor will provide customer service to students contacting the college and making admissions decisions on applicant status, college entrance, and residency. Completes data entry of and processes incoming admissions documents, including, but not limited to: applications, transcripts, updated forms, and test scores. Uses established guidelines but exercises professional judgment in the interpretation of evaluative data. Guides students through the entrance process, identify student needs and makes referrals to college departments as needed. Liaison with other campuses communicates with students, faculty, staff, and others on admissions and college issues.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Preferred candidate will have two (2) of student services experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge with ERP (currently Ellucian Colleague) preferred. Must be computer literate and demonstrate MS software proficiency. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Excellent data entry, document processing/management, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Experience working with faculty, staff, and students in higher education or working with the public daily in an office environment is highly preferred, as well as work experience with database software and MS Office Suite, document imaging software, and CISCO call manager. The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently and effectively is critical. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a definite plus.
