Job Summary
Located on the University of New Orleans campus and reporting to the Director of Experiential Education and Study Away (DELSA) with support from student workers and contract staff in Innsbruck, Austria, this position has primary responsibility for operation of UNO's INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL in Innsbruck Austria - which enrolls approximately 275 students annually. This position requires at least 7 weeks of international travel annually.

Job Summary
Located on the University of New Orleans campus and reporting to the Director of Experiential Education and Study Away (DELSA) with support from student workers and contract staff in Innsbruck, Austria, this position has primary responsibility for operation of UNO's INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL in Innsbruck Austria - which enrolls approximately 275 students annually. This position requires at least 7 weeks of international travel annually.
- Program marketing, student advising, assisting with admissions and matriculation in UNO operating systems, arranging housing and dining for students and faculty/staff, on-site staff and money management, event planning, and assisting faculty with educational technology including LMS;
- Primarily responsible for onsite bank account and reconciliation of onsite expenditures in USD and foreign currency;
- On duty 24/7 for crisis management while on-site abroad and assists the faculty director with student conduct and discipline processes;
- Acts as on-site liaison with local entities and institutions;
- Recruitment, hiring and evaluation of roughly 5 on-site support staff and 1-2 student workers at UNO;
- Support study abroad programming in other destinations and promotion of international education at UNO;
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least two year's relevant experience in program management.
- Demonstrated competency in a variety of computer skills, excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Higher education administration experience, particularly in international programs.
- Experience working abroad.
- Fluency or proficient knowledge of a foreign language, especially German.
