Experience
Education
Associate degree required in a Career or Technical Education field. In lieu of an earned associate degree, earned college credit hours and a willingness to complete an associate degree within a reasonable amount of time and two years practical workplace experience in sales management, communications marketing higher education student personnel, or related field required.

General Description and Purpose
The Career and Technical Education Admissions Representative serves as a college recruiter of prospective career and technical education students and as a resource to guide them toward success.
Primary Functions/Responsibilities
- Serve as the college recruiter directed by the Director of Admissions and Dean of Technical Education.
- Serve as the Special Program coordinator for the EPT application process and EPT specific campus events.
- Communicate and build relationships with prospective students in a variety of methods including but not limited to telephone, direct mail, text, social media and/or email.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
- In collaboration with the Dean of Technical Education and Director of Admissions, develop and implement a strategic plan outlining recruitment.
- Assist with coordinating on and off campus recruiting activities.
- Represent Pratt Community College at high schools, college fairs and special recruiting events as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Dean of Technical Education.
- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to facilitate the recruitment and retention of students.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions, Dean of Technical Education, Vice President or President.
Coordination and Accountability Tasks
- Collaborate in tandem with Director of Admissions and Dean of Technical Education to ensure that goals and assigned tasks are communicated and adhered to.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and other Characteristics
- Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record and be willing to travel independently and work occasional evenings and weekends.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and goal-oriented while organizing time and tasks.
- Make firm, intelligent, and fair decisions while demonstrating leadership.
- Possess the ability to relate to diverse student populations. Ability to quickly develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, school officials and professional colleagues.
- Ability to make a good first impression and represent the college well with high energy level, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and an appreciation of community college education.
- Ability to become familiar with all PCC (Pratt Community College) programs, especially those emphasizing career and technical education programs, and articulate them to internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess good computer skills to process student data, maintain reporting records and utilize social media and digital communication platforms effectively.
- Possess the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, carry equipment and supplies and set up recruiting displays for special recruiting events.
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, stoop, kneel and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.

Experience
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, diverse setting
- Prior experience with high school and college-aged students
- Prior experience with adult groups and activities
- Prior experience working in higher education, technical field or similar environment
- Fluency in Spanish
