The Student Services Assistant Director will oversee the daily operations of the Admissions office and staff. Daily functions will include the execution of various assignments, assisting in the achievement of recruitment initiatives and goals, and coordination of in-person recruitment activities with families and students. Oversee successful onboarding process for students. The Student Services Assistant Director of Admissions will create goals and objectives for Admissions staff and Recruiters in their territory ensuring comprehensive funnel contact and follow-up with students, resulting in submitted and completed applications, campus visits, and enrolled students.
Constant (67-100%)
* Directs all operational aspects of the Admissions team and department.
* Provide direction, supervision, and evaluation of assigned full time and part time staff.
* Oversee all Admission procedures (i.e., applications, transcripts, test scores, accept all completed files).
* Oversee letters or communication system in the Admission process (i.e., Recruit, acceptance letters, missing information letters, etc.).
* Ensure all Admissions staff are efficiently and effectively carrying out the onboarding processes for new students.
* Oversee all recruitment activities (i.e. Triton Visit Days, high school visits, athletic recruiting days, individual campus visits, group visits, and any other activities involving prospective students.)

* Assists the Dean of Student Services in planning the Enrollment Management Plan and Operational Performance Goals, and implementing the plans into action.•
* Attending departmental meetings dealing with Admissions and Enrollment activities and plans.
* Scholarships - sign all Academic & Presidential scholarships.
* Supervise and manage scholarship awards and budgets.
* Manage admissions department budget.
Frequent (34-66%)
* Work with the Dean of Student Services to track and communicate credit hours and meet enrollment goals.
* Coordinate the Student Ambassador program. including the recruitment, selection, and training of students.
* Attend meetings as necessary.
* Assist in the promotion and support of the department.
* Oversee the scheduling of high school travel, college fair attendance, decision day attendance, and presentation requests.
* Work with the Dean of Student Services to ensure the work of Student Services Secretaries is completed accurately.
* Ensure staff members are adequately trained on academic programs and how to advise and enroll students.
* Work with the Public Information Director to create marketing plans and materials for events and general recruitment for the college.
* Collaborate and communicate with other departments across campus to ensure a smooth recruiting and onboarding process for students.
Occasional (10-33%)
* Facilitate yearly Iowa Central ACAC college fair.
* Assist with the facilitation of Middle School Visit Days each year.
* Assist with coordination of Move-In Days.
* Plan and coordinate Orientation Days in collaboration with the Student Services Assistant Director, Advising.
* Order promotional materials for recruitment efforts as needed (i.e. campus visit t-shirts, student gifts, counselor gifts, etc.).
* Collaborate with the Associate Dean of High School Partnerships regarding the College and Career Transitional Counselors recruitment needs.
* Supervise a student for the position of mascot Tri and coordinate their attendance requests for on campus and local high school recruiting events.
* Work with the Website Specialist to ensure the admissions web page remains up to date.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

2. Be a creative, energetic, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
3. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, logically, and coherently, orally and in writing.
4. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
5. Must be able to get along with diverse personalities.
Bachelor's degree required.
