Job Summary

Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Student Services Analyst to support the Center for Workforce and Experiential Learning. This position coordinates, administers and implements workforce development and experiential learning programs which includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: internships, service learning, field experience, project-based learning and events.

Essential Functions

30%-Coordination and recruitment of experiential education opportunities including but not limited to, service learning, internships, field experience, and career exploration. Includes working with agencies (nonprofits, companies, small businesses and government entities) and securing partnerships and monitoring placements for EMCC students.

30%- Assists with development, planning and staging events related to workforce, experiential learning, and career engagement opportunities for students which could include the Career/Internship Fair, workshops, community presentations and classroom resources visits; other duties as assigned commensurate to grade level of the position

20%- Continuously develops, maintains, tracks and monitors program milestones and data collection.

20%- Contributes to the identification, application and administration of funding opportunities for students including scholarships,grants, and external funds related to experiential education; other duties as assigned commensurate to grade level of the position

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.

OR

Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.

Desired Qualifications

A. Masters degree in Business, Counseling, Educational Leadership, or related field.

B. Two (2) years of experience working in a college or university setting.

C. Experience developing business and community partnerships.

D. Experience collaborating with faculty and staff on experiential education including but not limited to, service learning, internships and field experience.

E. Experience with public speaking and delivering presentations to diverse audiences in both small and large group settings.

F. Experience with planning, coordinating and budgeting for special events or workshops

G. Experience tracking/collecting data and creating reports.

Special Working Conditions

May work evenings and weekends as needed.
