Description:
The Associate Director of Student Services will be instrumental in enhancing behavior support services and mental health resources within the Intermediate Unit (IU). Collaborating closely with Educational Services, Behavior Analysts, and district partners, this role focuses on developing innovative behavior programs and expanding resources for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include data analysis, staff development initiatives, professional development, and providing behavior consultation to supervisors, staff, and district partners. Networking and collaboration are emphasized to support the Social Emotional Wellness PAIU initiative and restorative practices. This role is committed to continuous improvement and innovation in meeting students' behavioral and mental health needs and training staff for the Intermediate Unit, along with providing support to LEAs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as psychology, education, counseling, or social work; Master's degree preferred.
- Principal certification required
- Certification as a Behavior Analyst (e.g., BCBA).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing behavior support programs and mental health resources.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver staff development initiatives, including training programs and professional development sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the Intermediate Unit's and its stakeholders' changing needs.
