The Manager of Strategic Recruitment & Partnerships: Academy will play a pivotal role in both establishing and nurturing Interlochen Arts Academy partnerships with appropriate schools, organizations, and educational stakeholders, as well as work closely with prospective Academy students and families to ensure the best possible admission experience for our constituents. Core responsibilities include management of application processes and student/family outreach for dedicated Academy student cohorts, and day to day management of Academy partner programs at Interlochen, including community based and non-profit organizations, partner schools, and more. This person will guide the recruitment, enrollment and onboarding of partner-specific students and assist in maintaining accurate enrollment reporting. Working closely with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leadership and Philanthropy, the Manager will help cultivate new partnership pipelines and steward partner organizations and their students and families through the enrollment process. Duties & Responsibilities: Student Recruitment:

Oversee Interlochen Arts Academy applications for dedicated student cohorts

Communicate with prospective students and families about Interlochen Arts Academy, and develop/maintain exceptional relationships with these families.

Work with the marketing team to envision and execute on appropriate collateral to assist with Academy recruitment efforts

Attend appropriate recruitment events and partner engagement opportunities, with the goal of raising awareness and building enrollment pipelines for Arts Academy and Arts Camp

Collaborate with Academy-focused admissions colleagues for both onsite and offsite recruitment activities

Oversee the department-wide recruitment travel schedule by working with team members to assign, register, and book off-campus recruitment opportunities in advance of travel season

Identify and Establish Partnerships:

Research and identify potential partner schools and organizations that align with Interlochen's mission and values.

Initiate and build strong relationships with community based organizations, educational institutions, placement directors, educational consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.

Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies:

Create and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to increase the flow of qualified student candidates.

Collaborate with the admissions, marketing, and data analysis colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process for referred students.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of partnership activities, including performance metrics, and generate regular reports for senior management.

Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Stay Informed and Collaborate:

Keep abreast of industry trends, educational policies, and changes in the educational landscape that may impact student recruitment.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including admissions, marketing, and academic departments, to align partnership efforts with school goals.
