About the Role:
As the Director of International Programs and Services in the Office of International Programs and Services (IPS) at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), you’ll be responsible for study abroad and student exchange programs, international partnerships and outreach, and the English Language and Culture Institute. Some key responsibilities include:
Provide strategic and budgetary leadership in support of global engagement
Lead partnership development efforts with higher education institutions globally
Support the Chancellor, the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (EVCAA), academic deans, senior administrators, and faculty on international policies, opportunities, and events
Collaborate with the Office of Enrollment Management on international recruitment efforts
Supervise 4 direct reports within the Office of International Programs and Services
What you'll need:
BA/BS degree plus at least 8 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of current issues and best practices related to international education both on campus and abroad.
This is an on-site position with an opportunity for some work flexibility. The starting salary is $75,000 and will depend on qualifications and experience.
