The Department of Management in the Haub School of Business at Saint

Joseph's University invites applications for a non-tenure-track, renewable

semester-to-semester, Adjunct faculty commencing August2023. Ideal

candidates will possess a Master's, Ph.D., Ed.D., or D.B.A. in International

Business, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or a closely related field

with prior work experience. Candidates with teaching experience in both

graduate and undergraduate courses in International Business,

Entrepreneurship or Strategic Management are highly desirable; courses will

be on-campus. Candidates with clear evidence of teaching excellence and student

engagement are preferred.

Courses in topics for adjunct staffing are in the areas of:

• International Business
• Entrepreneurship
• Strategic Management

Duties and Responsibilities:

The teaching of a specified course

Preparation of materials and online learning assignments (in Canvas)

Providing support and guidance to students

Advising students

Reporting grades

Secondary Responsibilities:

Cooperating with course coordinators or other program faculty to assure

quality and consistency across the program.

Cooperating in program assessments.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's Degree in International Business, Entrepreneurship,

Strategic Management, or a closely related major with meaningful

experience in management and/or consulting. Meaningful experience

teaching International Business, Strategic Management, and/or

Entrepreneurship courses at the university level. Willingness to teach

multiple courses across multiple programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D., Ed.D., or D.B.A. with a concentration in International Business,

Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related field.

Significant experience in International Business, Strategic Management,

Entrepreneurship and/or consulting.
