VCU's Global Education Office has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator of International Student Recruitment & Marketing!

Summary: The Global Education Office is seeking a Recruitment & Marketing Coordinator who will help to manage activities in international recruitment and marketing areas. This position will provide support and coordination for outreach and recruitment activities to grow a diverse international student population.  This position will report directly to the Director of Global Partnerships and Outreach.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support VCU’s international outreach and recruitment efforts
  • Assist with application analysis and assessment to ensure accurate and efficient processing of undergraduate and graduate applications.
  • Assist with managing agent network
  • Assist managing contracts
  • Assist in tracking agent performance 
  • Assist in processing agent payments
  • Help manage and provide communication with prospective international students in the enrollment funnel
  • Recruit at virtual fairs; create and deliver virtual presentations
  • Analyze CRM data and create reports to optimize operations
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • At least 2 years full time employment in Higher Education or education 
  • Considerable experience working with database, word processing, and graphics software with ability to maintain data and document management systems for recruitment purposes 
  • Professional or educational International and global experience
  • Passport or eligibility to obtain a passport
  • Skilled in entering data accurately and efficiently with a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with ability to maintain document management systems for recruitment purposes 
  • Ability to make oral presentations - in person and virtual
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining good working relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and to manage multiple projects in short and long time frames;
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) as a marketing tool
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Cross-cultural communication skills, agility, and experience;
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years CRM experience (Slate preferred)
  • Experience with accounts payable
  • Experience with evaluating product features and their ability to meet business needs
