Position Summary

 

ISEP is seeking a Marketing Coordinator committed to increasing student participation in international programs. The Marketing Coordinator will support the needs of the Marketing & Communications team under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Institutional Marketing. In this role, the selected candidate will assist in content development, social media implementation, and marketing research. The Marketing Coordinator will serve as a key member of a strategic and future-focused team committed to providing high-quality and informative print and digital content. The ideal candidate loves to work in a collaborative environment, is passionate about study abroad, and likes to dig into the details of a project or program.

 

Principal Relationships

External: ISEP members and affiliates, ISEP Council of Advisors

Internal: Communications and Marketing, Member Relations, and Enrollment Management

Key Job Responsibilities

Under the guidance of MarCom leadership, create social media content and implement a social media plan that highlights ISEP programs and the ISEP student experience Increase followers, engagement, and generate new leads in collaboration with the marketing team across multiple social media platforms Post and engage with students on ISEP’s social media accounts Build, implement, and track customized engagement campaigns for institutional partners, which may include social media takeovers, email campaigns, or virtual events Research, write, and update marketing content to accurately showcase ISEP programs across all channels, including web, email campaigns, printed collateral, and events Work with alumni to develop testimonials for marketing materials Work with program participants to increase program reviews on third-party platforms that highlight positive experiences on ISEP programs Create signage and other materials to support events Research and develop a library of marketing presentation slides for use by ISEP staff Build and format community emails as part of ISEP’s strategic messaging calendar Assist the Director of Marketing with evaluation projects, including distributing surveys, cleaning survey results, and creating reports for internal use Assist in the development and organization of custom content, including web sites, flyers, engagement campaigns, and emails for ISEP institutions Update institutional and industry facing website content in Ruby on Rails Organize and manage ISEP’s brand assets, including image libraries Research ISEP’s programs and write program descriptions and outlines for print and digital content Assist in maintaining and updating ISEP’s listings on third party databases, including VIA TRM and Terra Dotta Assist with in-person and virtual event logistics, including building registration forms and invitations Order branded materials as needed Support ISEP staff conference attendance Support additional marketing needs of ISEP staff as assigned  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, creative writing, global studies, or related field 2 years of prior work experience Excellent writing skills, as evidenced by application materials Willingness to learn ISEP's programs at a level of depth that will allow for the creation of compelling and accurate materials Mission-driven commitment to increasing study abroad participation worldwide Commitment to diversity and inclusion in international education  

Desired Additional Qualifications

Experience updating websites Experience in email marketing Experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or similar products Experience studying, living, interning, or working in another country Experience working for a university-based study abroad office or a study abroad organization Basic knowledge of HTML and managing web content.
