Morehouse College seeks a motivated and experienced Assistant Director of International Admissions responsible for recruiting, admitting, and enrolling international students. The successful candidate will serve as a primary contact for prospective international students and their families and will have extensive knowledge of the international admissions process, visa regulations, and the U.S. higher education system. In addition, the Associate Director of International Admission will also be responsible for overseeing partnerships with agents, agencies, and other third-party recruiters. They will be integral in advising students and the university on immigration regulations, and visa compliance, and will contribute to the enrichment of international students' experiences at Morehouse College.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
College admissions, marketing, sales experience, and/or proficiency in a second language are strongly desired.
Individuals must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, as necessary.
1 year experience in international recruitment in the private or public sector
Preferred Qualifications
3+ or more years of experience in international student services, admissions, and recruitment, or closely related fields in higher education.Knowledge of foreign education systems, international credential evaluations, SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System), and U.S. immigration regulations
Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Master's Degree Preferred
3+ or more years of experience in international student services, admissions, or related fields in higher education.
Knowledge of foreign education systems, international credential evaluations, SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System), and U.S. immigration regulations

Physical Demands
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill responsibilities. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Frequent sitting behind electronic devices for extended periods is required.

Develop and execute an international recruitment plan and oversee recruitment strategies on international undergraduate applications
Track prospects, inquiries, applications, and deposits in international territories taking action as needed
Manage a sizable international recruitment territory
Complete and review all international undergraduate applications
Collaborate with Student Affairs on the creation of I-20s
Collaborate with the Director of International Education at Morehouse
Discuss Morehouse College academics with prospective students, parents, counselors, and alumni via extensive travel to high schools and college fairs within international and domestic territories
Establish relationships with and maintain partnerships with international agents and agencies.
Assists with the department and divisional-sponsored events including off-campus recruitment and yield events
Conduct regular information and one-on-one sessions for prospective students
Knowledge and understanding of foreign educational credential systems and be able to advise on the authenticity of credentials
Frequent travel to conferences and recruiting events required (approximately 30-40% travel)
Percentage Of Time Essential Duties/Responsiblities
Work collaboratively with other divisional and University-wide departments to enhance the student experience, especially related to on-campus recruitment activities.
Attend recruitment events to support registration and other administrative tasks.
Participate in file reading for domestic admitted students.
Prepared to support domestic recruitment either through assigned territory or general to-state territory.
Support on campus yield programming including, but not limited to Open House, Counselor Symposium, Homecoming Admission Activities, MVP Admitted Student Day Program New Student Enrollment Center
Perform other duties as assigned by departmental or divisional leadership
