Job Summary
The Coordinator, Student Services & Admissions has administrative responsibility for coordinating undergraduate and graduate student program admissions, in collaboration with College of Education (COE) faculty and administrators. Serves as a primary contact for information regarding COE graduate admissions. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting COE students and tracking academic progress including admissions, enrollment and licensure data. The Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Office of the Assistant Dean.

The Coordinator is responsible for supporting COE students and tracking academic progress including admissions, enrollment and licensure data. The Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Office of the Assistant Dean.

- Assists in admissions processes. Acts as primary contact for COE graduate admissions, providing information to prospective and newly admitted students.
- Coordinates undergraduate student admissions to Teacher Education and collaborates with UAS advisors to update student's major after admission.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of applicant data, admissions decisions, and enrollment statistics. Distribute and develop new reports as requested.
- Assists in programmatic accreditation efforts including tracking and providing reports for admissions, enrollment, and licensure data.
- Maintains database for licensure exams (undergraduate and graduate).
- Prepares enrollment reports as requested or required.
- Coordinates communications to applicants within admissions processing systems.
- Maintains databases (i.e. Access, MS Excel, BDM) to track undergraduate and graduate student progress in conjunction with advising toward degree completion and licensure.
- Maintains an active database of prospective students and supports enrollment efforts at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Coordinates and schedule student test preparation sessions.
- Assists in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract a pool of qualified applicants including orientation programs, welcome events, and retention initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and connection among students.
- Completes purchase orders, supply orders, room reservations, and travel documents for the office as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- This position requires either eight years of directly full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
- Full-time professional experience in education or other related experience.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
- Experience with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in Leadership, Education, or other appropriate area of specialization.
- Experience with Banner and Degreeworks
- Three years of experience in recruitment, advising, program planning, K-12 outreach services, or event coordination.
- Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the position.
