International Adjunct Professor

(Bucharest, Romania)

Tiffin University (TU) was founded in 1888 and offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration, criminal justice, social sciences, creative and media arts, humanities, education, sciences, technology, and health. The University's campus in Tiffin, Ohio, blends traditional historic and modern buildings, creating a vibrant and welcoming educational community for its students, faculty, and staff. Students can pursue associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs both on campus and online, as well as at Terra State Community College. In addition, TU offers Bachelor in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees in Bucharest, Romania, and educational opportunities for students from Switzerland and Latin America. The University also provides an online Ph.D. program in Global Leadership and Change.

The main campus in Tiffin is a beautiful 153-acre blend of traditional historic and modern buildings that create a vibrant and warm home for an educational community. We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in business in Bucharest, Romania. From academic programs in sports and recreation management to homeland security/terrorism, communication, and management, TU offers more than 40 majors through on-campus and online learning that result in real advantages for our students.

GENERAL

TU has had an active campus in Bucharest, Romania, for nearly 25 years. With over 500 alumni and nearly 150 students currently enrolled, the University is running an Executive Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration both specializing in International Business and will launch a Bachelor of Science program specializing in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance starting in Fall 2024. The University is seeking adjunct professors for all of its programs at the Bucharest Campus.

For its Bachelor of Business Administration program, TU Bucharest is seeking adjunct professors to teach in the disciplines of Business Finance, International Finance, Managerial Accounting, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Quality Management, or Supply Chain Management.

For its Bachelor of Science program, TU Bucharest is seeking adjunct professors to teach courses in

various Computer Science specialties, such as cybersecurity (introduction to cybersecurity, cyber law and ethics, cyber warfare, cyber defense, networking, penetration testing and vulnerability analysis, incident management, computer forensics, digital forensics, etc.), network (networking fundamentals, applied network security, wireless security, network infrastructures), IT fundamentals (system analysis and design, server administration, cloud administration, information systems for managers, IT project management), and computer science fundamentals (discrete mathematics, spreadsheet applications & data analysis for decision making, computer algorithms, databases, introductory and advanced programming, operating systems - Linux, programming for applications development, internet and website development, etc.).

All courses are taught in English in an accelerated format of 3 weeks, on-site, on the Bucharest campus. TU covers the transportation and accommodation costs, plus a faculty stipend.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:
  • For the BBA program, the applicants must have a Master's degree in Business or a related field, such as Computer Science or Mathematics
  • For the BS program, the applicants must have a Master's degree in Cyber Operations, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Intelligence Studies, or a closely related field.
  • Also, they should have demonstratable experience in any of the following content areas: C Programming, Cryptography, Cyber Defense, Cyber Threat Intelligence, DevSecOps, Digital Forensics, Electronic Warfare, Information Architecture, Information Warfare, Malware Analysis, Networking, Operating Systems, including Linux, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Penetration Testing, Python Programming, Reverse Engineering, Software Development, Web Design/Development, Wireless and Mobile Communications, or other closely related areas.
  • Those with a doctoral or terminal degree are given preference.

Experience:
  • International experience in either a professional working or teaching capacity.
  • A minimum of three years of teaching experience.
  • A minimum of three five working experience in the instruction field are expected.
  • Proficiency in English (the courses are taught in English).
