SUMMARY:
The Director of Admissions is responsible for the overall supervision of the campus Admissions Representatives. This position will oversee admissions procedures and ensure individual and team objectives are reached in a compliant and timely manner. The Director of Admissions is also responsible for accurate accounting of all enrollments and starts. The DOA will ensure all follow-up training is completed and documented in accordance with DOE regulations.

The Director of Admissions is also responsible for accurate accounting of all enrollments and starts. The DOA will ensure all follow-up training is completed and documented in accordance with DOE regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the structure, documentation, and implementation of the organizational processes/procedures of the Admissions department.
- Ensure consistent operations of department according to Campus Support Center, State, and Federal policies.
- Provide management using accurate weekly performance reports related to advertising and recruitment program effectiveness and future start populations.
- Assist in hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and replacing staff as needed to ensure qualitative and quantitative objectives are achieved in the Admissions process.
- Develop, document, and implement ongoing program of professional training for Admissions Representatives and staff.
- Plan promotional events to raise the visibility of the school among its various publics.
- Other related tasks as assigned and deemed necessary.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach and assist in the development of admissions team members.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all regulatory and accreditation agencies, as applicable, relating to student recruitment and admission to ensure compliance.
- CampusVue database knowledge a plus.
- Outlook, Word, and Excel applications..
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years sales/recruitment experience and a proven track record with Dorsey Schools (must have a minimum of one to three years as an ADOA or DOA).
- Prior supervisory experience required.
WORKING / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Extensive walking and standing.
- May be required to work late and occasional weekends to support business needs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; and have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a phone, computer keyboard and other office equipment.
