Advanced-level Communication and Strategy DevelopmentCommunicate with global partners, international sites and program planners to monitor program needs and student support. Communicate with partners across campus to include the Graduate College, Registrar, Office of General Council (OGC), International Student Services, and Arizona International. Lead in the launching of new global or international programs as needed and in coordination with College leadership, OGC, Arizona International, etc. Develop new strategies for managing large-scale programs with hundreds of learners enrolled. Carefully expand the University's global and international reach through the iSchool's academic programs. Independently solve problems tied to global and international education for the college. Manage communication with faculty teaching in the program, collecting evidence of instructional quality and improvements over time and providing feedback for involved faculty. Ensure a high-quality course delivery and lead in the reporting about quality assurance for the university's Provost and other central leaders on the academic team. Prepare ongoing self-study materials and academic program review materials.

Global and International Student Services

Make decisions about the adoption of new technologies and tools to support the tracking and support of students (e.g., special aspects developed for SLATE, a student response system). Manage all issues relative to global and international program schedules of classes as well as student enrollments, records, cases, and issues. Create needed resources for global and international student guidance and program pathways. Manage student cohort calendars and scheduling, including faculty assignments and rotations. Manage and oversee global partner staff trainings, employee provisioning, adjunct hiring, while developing related policies and procedural documents. Handle special graduation needs of global and international learners in coordination with the events team. Carry a significant student support load in coordination with the student services team for global student cases, managing processes like leaves of absence, probations, and shifting schedules or cohorts, handling orientations, producing degree handbooks and other informational literature.Manage all study abroad efforts, to include related scholarship programs, for the iSchool. Operate with a high level of knowledge and confidence in order to carry out day-to-day academic operations relative to the global and international students and programs.

Data Analytics and Trends in Higher Education

Monitor student enrollment, retention rates, and related student data. Provide data for college leadership and University administration. Monitor the broader landscape in higher education relative to global delivery, student interests, international trends, and financial shifts around the world, serving as the expert on global education in the College. Serve in place of the College Dean in all meetings exploring 'new partnerships' for the campus and advise the Dean on important new initiatives given the trends. Evaluate and independently assess the effectiveness of existing programs through data analysis, student feedback, and assessment tools. Monitor study abroad data, financial impacts, income to be converted into study abroad scholarships, and other data-driven efforts for study abroad programs.
