The Opportunity:
As the Student Services Coordinator/Advisor, you provide academic advisement for prospective and current graduate students within the Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) program, which is an online graduate masters and certificate program within the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture. You provide administrative support to the Program Chair, collaborating with them regarding policy decisions and assisting with data acquisition and analysis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing advanced-level advising in the areas of academic planning for graduate students in ETM; implementing systems and methods for maintaining student records; tracking student progress toward degree completion; interpreting degree, Program, College, Graduate School, and University requirements, policies, and procedures; making updates to graduate student resources as needed to reflect current information; developing and participating in student workshops, orientations, and recruitment activities; functioning as a liaison with ETM faculty and students, supervisors, and internal and external constituents on all issues regarding the Graduate Certificate/Program; provide assistance in developing unit policies, procedures, and methodologies.

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. - Positions require a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
