As part of a dynamic Admissions team, these positions are responsible for recruitment, conversion, and yield tactics to help enroll well-qualified undergraduate students to the university. Duties are expected to include, but are not limited to, application review, student recruitment travel, answering email and phone inquiries, developing and administering presentations, conducting appointments in a variety of mediums such as face-to-face and virtually, and personal outreach. These full-time positions have a 12-month obligation. The department of Admissions focuses on attracting and enrolling a qualified and diverse student body to SUNY Plattsburgh through a variety of methods. We are a part of the Enrollment and Student Success division which supports a student's entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success. Collectively, the division of Enrollment and Student Success positively influences the health, safety and well-being of the student body.
