The Director of Admissions is responsible for managing the school's admission process from inquiry to integration into the school, overseeing all admission events, and working closely with the administrative team to promote the school in order to attract new families and retain current ones. The Director of Admissions will enthusiastically communicate the school's Catholic values, mission, programs, and educational philosophy.

- Cultivate strong relationships with parents, school faculty and staff, parish priests and staff, volunteers, and the greater St. Thomas More community
- Direct and manage admission programs for recruitment, enrollment, and retention.
- Work with the Communications and Development Specialist to plan and organize admission events and receptions for prospective students and families.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Development Specialist to determine strategic goals and actions to achieve target enrollment
- Create, implement, and report on annual goals, objectives, and a plan of action for attracting and retaining students
- Work in partnership with the Principal and the Business Manager for FACTS administration, including awarding financial aid based on the recommendations of the Diocesan Tuition Assistance Program and FACTS
- Oversee the registration process
- Re-register returning students
- Schedule readiness assessment screenings for new students
- Request transcripts from previous school for new students
- Send acceptance letters, Save the Dates, and pertinent paperwork to new families
- Oversee the withdrawal process for families transferring out of STM
- Coordinate 8th grade high school admissions
- Work with the Middle School Team to create Teacher Recommendations
- Gather HSPT forms and send transcripts, Teacher Recommendation Form and Discipline Form to the top 3 diocesan high schools of choice
- Coordinate 8th Grade Graduation with administration and teachers
- Work with homeroom teachers, principal, and music teacher to complete the graduation program
- Print diplomas for the Rector and Principal to sign
- Order diploma covers and awards medals
- Prepare graduation materials for ceremony
- Beginning of the year preparations
- Send Middle School Math placement letters
- Send parents orientation information
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

- A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent, along with a minimum of 3 years' of experience preferred, managing a school admission process from inquiry to integration.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to work with confidential information and use discretion.
- Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and able to prioritize projects
- Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple projects/priorities
- Proficiency working in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word Documents for general correspondence, to disseminate information, to organize data and create reports, and to manage files and folders.
