TCC is the largest provider of higher education and workforce services in Hampton Roads, enrolling nearly 28,000 students in 2019-20. Founded in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, Tidewater Community College (TCC) services South Hampton Roads with 4 campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach, 7 regional centers and 2 important cultural institutions. The college had 3,203 graduates in 2019-2020, 40 percent of whom pursued degrees that would let them transfer to 4-year institutions. Of South Hampton Roads residents enrolled in higher education 36% enrolled at TCC. TCC's institutional accreditation is affirmed through 2027 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The Admissions and Enrollment Supervisor will manage, lead, and supervise the overall daily
operations including record management, domicile, applications, and other enrollment processing of the Office of Admission and Enrollment Services. The position will serve as the primary point of contact in dealing with all aspects of Admission and Enrollment (FERPA, Special provision, Admission, Domicile), etc. Also, the position will coordinate with campus and college staff to ensure courteous delivery of accurate and consistent information, campus/college personnel, and the public.
Also, the position will hire, train, and supervise full-time, part-time, and student employees. Most importantly, ensuring compliance with all VCCS, TCC, state, and federal policies and procedures. Lastly, this position provides information regarding enrollment and registration procedures to new and continuing students in individual and group settings, on and off-campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of all aspects of Student Services (Admissions and Enrollment, Onboarding/Recruiting, Financial Support, Student Development, Student Activities, etc.)
- Knowledge of on-line registration and student records system
- Knowledge of ability to interpret and apply VCCS, FERPA, and College Policies, regulations, and procedures related to student records.
- Advanced supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills demonstrating the ability to manage several employees and to communicate effectively while establishing cooperative working relationships with diverse constituencies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state policies as they relate to higher education, admissions, domicile, records, and registration.
- Ability to develop, collect, interpret, analyze, and manage data.
- Demonstrated administrative problem solving and sound decision-making based on college, VCCS, and FERPA policies and procedures.
- Ability to lead and manage projects, handle multiple competing tasks simultaneously, and to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated computer competency and a working familiarity with Microsoft Office, Presentation, Spreadsheet, Database, e-mail, and use of the Internet.
- Ability to make oral and written presentations, organize and analyze, negotiate, and communicate effectively while establishing a cooperative working relationship with a diverse array of individuals in the course of performing assigned duties.
