Phoenix East Aviation (PEA) is one of the fastest growing Flight Schools in the United States and is looking to add an additional Admission Officer to our team in Daytona Beach. We are seeking a driven and hardworking individual

Essential Functions

Our admissions team works with potential pilots in helping them achieve their goals. Whether that student is new to aviation or has the experience, our goal is to prepare them for their future careers.

You will interact, assist, plan, and prepare for their educational and environmental change when starting here at PEA. This includes guiding Domestic and International Students through the Admission process by responding to leads generated by telephone, email, fax, referral, letter or walk-in inquiry.

Physical Demands
  • Stationary position: Must be able to to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.
  • Move, Traverse: The person in this position need to occasionally move about the campus.
  • Communicate: The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Ascend/Descend: Must be able to walk up and down stairways.
  • Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment: phone, printer/copier.
  • Detect: The ability to observe details at close range

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full time; exempt. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Pay

Annual salary: $50,000 plus commissions

Travel

Domestic and International travel opportunities, as needed

  • At least 1-year sales experience
  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Great people skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • At least 1-year experience with Outlook, Excel
  • At least 1 year of Customer Service Experience

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Aviation knowledge/experience
  • Multilingual
  • Salesforce
  • International travel experience
