We are currently seeking a Director, International Admissions at our New York City (lower Manhattan) campus.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Dean of Admission the Director of International Admissions will be responsible for the development and implementation of an international recruitment strategy and admission plan to achieve the university’s enrollment goals. Collaborating with key university stakeholders including the Office of the Provost, Office of International Student and Scholars, Housing, Orientation, Office of Student Assistance, Academic Deans, and the English Language Institute you will be charged with continually improving and advancing Pace’s international enrollment plan. As part of the Enrollment Management team, the Director works to ensure a seamless and student-centered enrollment process for international students.

Position Responsibilities:
 

  • Assess, redevelop, and implement the current strategic international student enrollment plan. Analyzes enrollment trends and execute new outreach strategies to maximize Pace’s presence in the international market. Works with the four admission offices, Enrollment Operations and Technology, Marketing and the International Student Office to unify the management of international applicants including market development, communications, admission, visa requirements, enrollment, and orientation for both undergraduate and graduate international students. Works collaboratively with the Office of the Provost and various school Deans to develop agreements with international secondary schools and international universities. Identifies opportunities to engage reputable independent counselors/agents and manages agent contracts. Oversees and supervises the activities of Pace’s international recruitment agencies. Researches scholarship opportunities from sponsoring governments, establishes Pace as an approved institution to host scholarship students, and coordinates efforts to take full advantage of these prospects. Strategize and plan effective international travel for their team and will participate in international travel as needed. Monitors the international recruiting budget. Build, train, and mentor the International Admissions team.

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a graduate degree is preferred. At least five years of progressively responsible experience in successful planning, creative problem solving, and effective administration in an international environment. The ability to lead, supervise, motivate, and initiate change is required. Passport is required. Driver’s license is required. Experience with SEVIS and I-20 processing preferred. Experience managing a budget. Must be able to travel Internationally.
