OVERVIEW
DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, the 550-acre suburban campus is located about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,000 includes undergraduate day, evening, and graduate students. DeSales has approximately 130 full-time faculty members and offers 50 bachelor's degrees, 14 graduate programs, and a number of certificates in a wide range of disciplines.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Admissions for Multicultural Recruitment is responsible for creating and implementing recruitment strategies and programming with the goal of attracting and retaining traditional undergraduates from diverse populations. In addition, the position will manage a specific geographic territory of prospective students and is responsible for travel within this territory.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 years experience in higher education, recruitment, marketing
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills with individuals and large groups
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience compiling and analyzing information and using data.
- Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability, and diversity
- Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
