Job Purpose
Under the direction of the School Principals and National Director of Enrollment Management, the School Admissions Manager will lead the effort to ensure the schools in the region are fully enrolled with the scholars we strive to serve. This important role will be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for current and prospective parents primarily through the Decision and Advocacy stages of the Parent Experience Journey (PEJ).
The School Admissions Manager will also be responsible for the planning and execution of all recruitment & retention events for current and prospect families that bring to life the unique identity of the school in an engaging way.

Essential Responsibilities and Competencies
Scholar Recruitment & External Community Engagement (50%)
- Guide parents through the admissions process, making the experience positive, straightforward and engaging.
- Build an understanding of each family’s needs and interests throughout the PEJ.
- Collaborate with school leadership to drive conversion at each stage of the pipeline by maintaining a focus on ‘closing’ towards the next step.
- Manage data capture and lead management through CRM system.
- Responsible for building strategic external relationships with key organizations like daycare centers, community centers, parent associations, etc. with the intent to drive prospect parent leads for enrollment consideration.
- Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to build lead generation and lead nurturing initiatives.
- Ensure updated demographic and market analysis data is available and synthesized in the recruitment planning process
- Develop data-driven enrollment forecasts and projections and generate action plans as needed to ensure enrollment goals are met
- Rigorously track new and returning student enrollment data, number/frequency of communication with each family, and communications with external stakeholders
Charter Program Management & Compliance (20%)
- Serves as school point of contact for families interested in enrollment, accepting, and approving applications for school.
- Support school administrative team to ensure student records are compliant.
Engagement and Retention (30%)
- Develop and manage the annual recruitment and event calendar for the school.
- Build the school online community through social media, driving followers and engagement.
- Regularly capture photos and videos for social media and parent communications.
- Build scholar retention plan and create touch point throughout the school year to confirm fall attendance (may include post cards, welcome gifts, phone calls, home visits, etc.).
- Lead and support the school team throughout the re-enrollment process to optimize the retention of existing scholars and families.
- Build culture of advocacy with goal to create scholar and parent ambassador groups
- Ensure school website is kept up to date with correct staff information and event calendar
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 3 years of similar school enrollment experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working with youth and families in low-income urban communities preferred
- At least two years of work experience as an administrative professional or in customer service; education sector experience a plus
- Experience with a Client Relationship Management system preferred
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Google products, knowledge of school-based software systems preferred
- Must be able to commute to both EAGLE Maryvale and EAGLE Mesa
