POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Recruitment & Partnership Manager is a new student recruiter with a primary emphasis on forming/nurturing relationships with community-based organizations and undergraduate institutions to promote graduate program opportunities at Erikson Institute. The position will be accountable for these relationships through formal partnership agreements allowing new student growth within the graduate school. The Admissions Recruitment & Partnership Manager is accountable for their performance and achievement of enrollment and partnership development goals, as well as contribution to overall team goals.

The Admissions Recruitment & Partnership Manager is responsible for representing Erikson Institute to multiple constituencies, including prospective students, their families, and school/community contacts. The role works in a small team of admissions staff members, and works closely with faculty, marketing and communications and others in cross-office collaborative manner.

Some evening and weekend hours and occasional local, regional, and national travel are required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

New Student Recruitment and Partnership Development-85%
  • Recruit for program and/or territory assignments to ensure effective enrollment of targeted new students. Execute best practice relationship building and decision making with student leads and maintain accurate and complete records within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Utilize CRM to effectively manage recruitment and make strategic, data-driven decisions on measurable recruitment activities in order to achieve term and annual enrollment goals. Conduct interviews, appointments, campus tours and group information sessions for prospective students. Implement, coordinate, and participate in lead generation events and activities, both on and off campus. Travel on behalf of Erikson Institute, speaking publicly to individuals and groups on and off campus.
  • Generate student interest by maintaining, building, and cultivating new and existing relationships with community-based organization administrators and undergraduate institution faculty/staff, identifying and nurturing partnership opportunities. In doing so, be able to identify and reach decision makers within organizations/institutions and the potential to effectively promote Erikson programs to those individuals and their employee/student base. Coordinates with peers in using internal CRM systems to track and measure progress toward goals. Plan, schedule, and present at events including but not limited to information sessions specific to Erikson’s programs at partnering organizations and institutions. Oversee the execution of contracts and agreements in order to develop and sustain partnerships that support enrollment. Manage the partner database and maintain an active contact database. Serves as main point of contact for these organizations and universities. Work with Director of Admission to collaborate with faculty and plan strategically for academic partnering.

  • Participate and engage in training and staff development activities.
  • Demonstrate ongoing learning and process improvement of key job functions, including but not limited to, product knowledge, influential sales tactics, efficient use of technology and excellent customer service.
  • Be accountable for ensuring the attainment of recruitment and enrollment goals that directly impact the generation of revenue for Erikson Institute.
  • Align all activities with Erikson Institute mission and values.

Other - 5%
  • Serve as a critical thinking member of the Erikson Institute Admissions team.
  • Serve as a liaison between Admissions and other university departments and committees as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the EI Admissions leadership team.
  • Perform related duties as necessary to support Erikson’s mission, including clear articulation of the benefits of an Erikson education.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university required.
  • Three or more years admission experience (specifically adult/graduate populations) or high-value relationship based/customer service and/or client relations experience required.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Comfortable proactively reaching out to prospective students and partners. Flexibility to travel locally and nationally, and availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficient in the usage of computer programs (Microsoft Office) and other technologies required. Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. (Slate experience preferred)
  • Possess attention to detail and ability to multi-task; determination to meet recruitment goals; demonstrated initiative; analytical; and commitment to the mission statement, core values and goals of Erikson Institute.
  • Demonstrated experience at working effectively with multiple stakeholders including colleagues, faculty, applicants/customers, and external partners.

  • Bilingual is a plus.
