New York Tech’s Manhattan campus seeks an Assistant Director, International Admissions, who will execute an strategic recruitment plan, specifically geared towards impacting international enrollment. This role is considered a hybrid/remote position that offers the flexibility of working remotely and in the NYC office, in line with NYTech policy. Reporting to the Associate Director of International Admissions, the Assistant Director will be responsible for meeting enrollment objectives in their designated territories, with duties and responsibilities to meet NYTech’s international student enrollment goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement a strategic international recruitment plan to meet admission goals at New York campuses; use internal and external data to assess effectiveness and provide periodic reports and ongoing recommendations; assist with focused marketing and communication planning;
- Collaborate with internal institutional stakeholders to grow and shape international enrollment for both graduate and undergraduate populations
- Manage prescribed recruitment territories and attend recruitment fairs and events; actively manage and elevate opportunities for student engagement throughout enrollment life cycle
- Must be willing to travel extensively for recruitment, to travel between both NY campuses, work nights and weekends (as needed) and support on-campus recruitment events, including Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, UG Information Sessions, etc. virtually and in-person.
- Collaborate with domestic team members in support of campus and office related needs and develop a functional knowledge of other admissions areas (i.e. First year, transfer and graduate) through participation in cross training for the purposes of attending events, reading applications and communicating with potential students, as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all and perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- One (1) to three (3) years of admissions experience is preferred. One (1) to three (3) years of experience in recruitment or customer service a plus.
- Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and prioritizing skills as well as superior attention to detail
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with student information systems (Peoplesoft) and customer relationship management systems (Slate).
- Must possess the ability to build relationships with stakeholders as it relates to international recruitment, including feeder schools, educational agencies and external organizations.
- Must have valid passport, willingness to travel internationally
- Must have valid Driver’s License and operational vehicle
