Tai Chi Instructor (International District/ Chinatown Community Center)

If you have adult programming experience and a fundamental knowledge of Tai Chi, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Tai Chi Instructor at International District/ Chinatown Community Center. This is a part-time weekday morning position starting April 2024.

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a dynamic Tai Chi Instructor to share their talents with the community. We value promoting a fun positive atmosphere. Being a place where people can make friends and build community while learning together. We are looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable in their area of expertise. But also knows that participants leaving with a smile on their face, is the top priority, learning, while important is secondary.

Schedule:

Tuesday 9:30am-11am
Thursday 9:30am-11am

Pay range:
  • $24.50 - $26.50 per hour DOE


Tai Chi Instructor duties and responsibilities:
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Must have had experience working in a classroom setting with the public.
  • Must be interested in teaching adults the foundations and fundamentals of Tai Chi.
  • Ability to create and lead lesson plans
