Description

Responsible for supporting all aspects of the mission of RCBC as well as the Enrollment Management Division to which the Outreach and Admissions Department reports. This position specifically supports prospective students in navigating the admissions and financial aid processes to support their enrollment in credit bearing coursework at RCBC.

This is a grant-funded position, with funding available through 6/30/2024.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide prospective students with information and assistance regarding college procedures, academic programs, non-credit programs, and admissions processes.
  • Respond to prospective student inquiries, set appointments and conduct campus tours.
  • Assist with Information Sessions at various locations in and around the Burlington County area
  • Assist with recruitment events on and off campus.
  • Provides basic and individualized financial aid information to students, faculty and other members of the College community
  • Complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in all duties
  • Assume a share of the responsibility for answering telephones, mail, email, faxes and other communications as assigned
  • Provides problem-solving and customer service assistance in a pleasant and knowledgeable manner as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Perform all duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education Required:
    High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.

    Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of a higher educational setting.
  • Knowledge of Admissions processes at the college level.

  • Skills/Abilities /Knowledge /Other Requirements:
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Technologically proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (specifically, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint), Google Applications and other database management software
  • Motivated individual who is results-driven, innovative, and open to new ideas and projects
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize projects and tasks
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Possess a valid driver’s license

    INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS:
    Collaborates with department members and/or the Compliance, Assessment and Research team to support planning, assessment, data collection and reporting for continuous improvement of the college.
