The Career Transition team works with disadvantaged youth close to completing the Job Corps program to ensure they are placed in quality jobs and have the necessary tools to be successful adults!

Position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Base Pay for this position is $43,888 annually with quarterly performance bonuses and monthly cell phone stipend.
Grafton Job Corps Center is a federally funded, residential vocational training facility. Our mission is to provide cost-free, career-based technical and academic training along with job placement assistance to low-income youths ages 16-24 years of age. Careers Begin Here!
POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for the recruitment and arrival coordination of Job Corps students. Provides transitional support and placement services leading to quality full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data
In this role, you will:
- Recruit student to attend the Grafton Job Corps Center
- Make sure students are attending are both eligible to attend and are a good fit for the program and would be successful
- Provide personalized career counseling and evaluates student performance.
- Oversee, develop, monitor, and update student transition plans to ensure successful outcome.
- Develop Center-beneficial business and community linkages that provide students with quality and industry relevant employment opportunities.
Qualifications
Associates degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications or closely related field and two years related experience required. Bachelors degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field preferred. Experience may include successful Job Corps enrollment or successful enrollment in other youth development programs.Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements.
