Position Summary
The UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health seeks accomplished and talented candidate(s) to review applications for the MPH , BSPH and other degree programs. Selected candidate(s) will attend trainings in November 2024, participate in regular admissions committee meetings, and review approximately 20 applications per week from December 2024 - February 2025. The goal of this position is to help the Admissions Committee make a more informed decision regarding potential applicants for programs. The reviewer will complete a detailed evaluation form for each applicant and provide recommendations to the Admissions Committee based on the applicant’s qualifications. This position is likely to be based in a tele-working environment (i.e. home office).

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Graduate degree in progress or completed, preferably in public health, education, or related field; experience with graduate admissions preferred; experience with MS Teams, WebAdmit/ SOPHAS , and/or other application software preferred. Anyone who has been appointed to serve on a current Gillings admissions committee is ineligible to be hired as a seasonal reviewer.

Work Schedule
Training Sessions in November, reviews and admissions meetings from December 2024 - February 2025; Work schedule is largely independent outside of trainings and meetings with weekly goals and deadlines.
