Job Summary
Serves as MCC recruiter and community representative. Develops and implements recruitment plans, organizes events, and represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body.
Madisonville Community College (MCC) is a five-campus institution centrally located along I-69 corridor in beautiful rural Western Kentucky that serves Muhlenberg, Caldwell, Webster, and Crittenden Counties. MCC is one of sixteen institutions in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and awards certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees in liberal arts and technical education. Job Duties:
• Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities; may specialize in a specific target population.
• Identifies opportunities for admissions and community outreach events.
• Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission.
• Uses technology to track and communicate with prospective students.
• Assists with dual credit programming, coordination, and outreach in high schools.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years related experience.
