Your mission
The Admissions Team Leader at Schiller International is responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for all new students across the university´s 4 campuses. This role involves providing daily support and guidance to the admissions team, assisting with decision-making, and collaborating closely with the Director of Global Admissions to implement strategic initiatives. The Team Leader also helps address and resolve team-related challenges, driving efficiency and fostering a positive, results-oriented environment.

Your profile

• Daily Supervision and Support: Provide guidance and daily support to admissions representatives, addressing any questions or conflicts that arise in the admissions process.
• Decision-Making: Assist in making key decisions to ensure that the admissions team operations run smoothly and in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Strategy: Collaborate with the Global Head of Admissions in planning and implementing strategies to optimize team performance and improve the admissions process.
• Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues within the team and work with the Director of Admissions to develop effective solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Ensure the tracking and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the admissions team, contributing to performance analysis and continuous improvement.
• Training and Development: Support the ongoing training and development of the team by providing constructive feedback and assisting in the professional growth of team members.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between the admissions team and senior management, ensuring clear and effective communication flows.
• Compliance: Ensuring new students submit all required documentation and information to follow national and international regulations.
• Teamwork: Working collaboratively with university administrative and academic leadership, students, academic support, faculty, and external stakeholder groups to support realization of the university objectives where academics and student experience are concerned.
• Student onboarding: Leading new student processes to ensure a smooth handover from admission to the classroom.
• Student engagement: Providing new students who enroll months in advance to their start date with additional pre-start activities to keep them engaged in university life.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Admissions.

Position requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in Higher Education.
• Data-oriented focus.
• Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent intercultural communication skills and cultural agility.
• Previous CRM experience.
• Fluent in English
• Fluent Spanish, German or French is a plus.
• Experience in mentorship or coaching a plus.
