Role Overview:
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the enrollment process for healthcare courses offered by National Safety & Health. This role involves overseeing prospective student inquiries, guiding applicants through the admission process, ensuring all required documentation is submitted, and maintaining communication with students from initial contact through enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Recruitment and Outreach:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students interested in healthcare courses.
- Conduct outreach efforts, including responding to inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
- Provide detailed information about course offerings, schedules, and prerequisites.
2. Application Management:
- Assist applicants in completing their applications and gather necessary documentation.
- Review and process applications to ensure all requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of all admissions-related activities in the student management system.
3. Communication and Guidance:
- Guide applicants through the admissions process, including answering questions and providing support.
- Communicate admission decisions and next steps to applicants in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless transition for students from admission to course registration.
4. Data Management and Reporting:
- Track and report on admissions metrics, such as inquiry conversion rates, enrollment numbers, and application processing times.
- Generate reports for management to inform decision-making and improve processes.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and implement strategies for student recruitment.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure that tuition and fees are properly communicated and collected.
- Coordinate with instructors and program directors to align admission processes with course schedules and capacity.
6. Student Services:
- Provide ongoing support to enrolled students, addressing any concerns or issues that arise before the start of their courses.
- Assist in organizing orientation sessions and other onboarding activities.
7. Compliance:
- Ensure that all admissions processes adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare education regulations and update admissions procedures accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in education, business, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience in admissions, student services, or a related role, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with student management systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of healthcare education programs and industry standards.
- Experience working in a customer service or student-facing role.
