The position will entail teaching three- course load per semester, research, administration, advising, and service in both interdisciplinary M.A. Program in International Relations and B.A. International and Global Studies. A Ph.D. in International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field is required at the time of appointment; ABD applicants will be considered.

Some international field experience is desirable.

The International and Global Studies program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with four tracks (General Studies, Economic and Trade Affairs, Political and Cultural Affairs, and Latin American Studies). The Graduate International Relations Program offers the Master of Arts degree to a diverse student population from a variety of countries and backgrounds, including students who have recently completed their undergraduate degrees and mid-career professionals. It currently includes on-campus and online programs with 2 focus areas: 1) security policy and 2) sustainable development and conflict transformation.
