STUDENT SERVICES TRANSPORTATION AIDE (PM)
Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00
Hours: 1.5 hours per day (PM) ; 7.5 hours per week
STUDENT SERVICES TRANSPORTATION AIDE (PM)
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain safe environment for transportation from out of district facility(ies) to student(s) home(s)
  • Create and maintain a positive working relationship with transportation company and drivers
  • Create and maintain a positive working relationship with families
  • Implement appropriate social/emotional, behavioral and/or physical supports during transport as per behavior/medical plan.
  • Flexibility for pick up and drop off at designated school as determined by other contractual assignments (i.e., a Daisy assigned person would be able to be picked up and dropped off at Daisy, etc.) will be arranged with the transportation company
Minimum requirement
  • At least paraprofessional qualified (Associate’s degree or passing Parapro examination)
  • RBT preferred but not required
  • Completion of Safety Cares training (can be completed after starting position)
