About Holy Family University
Holy Family University is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth founded in 1954. The University is a private institution in the Catholic tradition with campus locations in Philadelphia and Newtown PA. The main campus is nestled in the heart of a historic residential neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia that is vibrant and just minutes from the excitement of Center City. The School of Business and Technology at Holy Family University invites applications for the position of adjunct professor to teach international business courses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in international business and a passion for engaging and inspiring students.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Teaching of courses in international business
• Conduct face to face classroom instruction following the University’s academic standards and guidelines
• Facilitate active learning experiences and practical exercises to enhance student comprehension and application of international business concepts
• Provide timely feedback on assessments to support student learning and growth
• Using the Learning Management System (CANVAS) appropriately for all classes
• Utilizing advising software (CRM Advise) to alert student issues to support offices within the university
• Spring 2025 courses scheduled for:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM
  • Asynchronous online section(s)

Education & Experience Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Business or a related field. Doctoral degree preferred.
• Previous teaching experience at a college or university level is highly desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and issues in International Business
• Experience with instructional technology and online learning platforms is desirable.
